2/13 Weekly Announcements

Rachel's Challenge F.O. R. Club will be collecting new and unused pajamas all next week for children in foster care. Pajamas may range in size for youth (kindergarten) to adult (high school). The donations will be dropped off to a local mattress firm to help those in need. Please help us reach our goal of at least 50 pair. 

AG Cox’s PTA is sponsoring a school dance.  The Glow Wild dance will be on Feb 24^th from 7 to 9pm.  Tickets will be $7.00 in advance and $10.00 at the door.  Visit AG Cox’s PTA Facebook if you would like to volunteer.

Parents please note, to limit distractions from the school day and in classrooms, students will not be allowed to receive Valentine’s Day gifts at school. 

$5 Book Fair Feb. 15 & 16

7^th grade parents, on Thursday, Pitt County Schools will be doing hearing and vision screening for all 7^th grade students.

8^th grade parents and students are invited to South Central’s Curriculum Night, on Feb 21^st from 5:30 to 7:30.

Parents, ask your child about Just Do It.  Students that complete all their assignments will get to attend the Just Do It event.

Sport Events this week:

Monday -  Basketball vs. Wellcome 4pm                                              
Monday – Soccer / Baseball / Softball tryouts begin and students must have a current physical on file to participate.
