5/8 Weekly Announcements

Parents please note, that AG Cox limits classroom disruptions and only call students out of class for emergencies.  Thank you for your understanding.

As the weather is warming up, here’s a quick reminder of the school dress code guidelines.  Students are allowed to wear the solid color shirts with a collar; colors may be kelly green, navy, black, and white.  Pants and shorts must be a solid color of navy, khaki, or black and no blue jean material. 

We are having our annual Mother’s Day Plant sale this week.  Students, staff, and community members may purchase decorated potted plants from the greenhouse from 3-4pm for $5.  Proceeds will benefit our Special Needs Classrooms.  

Thursday, May 11^th, AG Cox will be offering medical sports physicals for students that plan to play sports next school year at the middle school or high school.  The cost is $20 and the medical sports physicals are good for 365 days.

8^th Grade Parents, Cherish the Memories and purchase an 8^th Grade Team Shirt that will have 8^th grade student names on the back.  Order forms were sent home Friday and may found on the AG Cox 411 blog.

We have afterschool tutoring Monday - Thursday from 3:30 to 4:20pm.  A tutoring bus with consolidated bus stops will provide transportation to students that need a ride after tutoring.  Students must have a tutoring form signed by a parent to attend.  Tutoring Forms may be found on the AG Cox 411 School Blog.  Click the tutoring form link. We had over 500 students attend the Just Do It for 3^rd Nine weeks.  The 4^th Nine weeks Just Do It event will be May 26th.    Students that complete all their assignments for the 4^th nine weeks will get to attend and participate in the fun activities.
